So often in reading over my blog for the millionth time before hitting "Publish," I suddenly notice a word, a detail, a missing explanation that could totally mislead any reader who isn't me. Writing for the uninformed is such a challenge. And if the story is complex or full of "strangers," it can be even more challenging to prevent that "huh?" reaction.
