Once I found the title to that booklet I had mentioned knowing about, written by a former slave in the family, I did locate a copy through WorldCat.<br /><br />Also, if your book was formally published, might a copy have been filed at the Library of Congress? I have finally ...I am sure the book is fascinating. I have finally copied the pages of the civil war memoir from my 1st cousin 4x removed. It is heartbreaking but full of emotion and detail. I am trying how best decide to share it. I have been tracing his line (and his identical twin brother who served with him) and I am not seeing a mention of the book anywhere.
