Actually, the whole experience--before this discovery--had been very frustrating. I had tested myself, talked my brother into testing the Y-DNA, and had my husband test, too. We're hoping another relative will soon test as well. But we've never found any matches whatsoever--save for one third cousin located on my husband's thoroughly-documented maternal line. Not one nibble besides that.<br /><br />And then, this surprise. It seems so promising. But has so many blanks in the record. It will indeed be a challenge.
