I had no idea how much I would learn just by uncovering a tiny slip of a newspaper clipping from my grandmother-in-law's personal papers. And to think most people would just toss something like that away as garbage. Makes me really take a second look at that notion to declutter!Jacqi Stevenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03471698670217119444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5034998384799920884.post-68780254179122456732012-04-25T18:50:16.930-07:002012-04-25T18:50:16.930-07:00Oh, Iggy, I'm sure I've already had my fai...Oh, Iggy, I'm sure I've already had my fair share of those 15 minutes, though I always like to think my time is yet to come!Jacqi Stevenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03471698670217119444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5034998384799920884.post-13376893154195388982012-04-25T18:49:12.734-07:002012-04-25T18:49:12.734-07:00Connie, I've really enjoyed delving into this ...Connie, I've really enjoyed delving into this family's stories! He just said he had no means to - all (or any) of the witnesses of the alleged drinking didn't show up at the trial. R. C.'s "sentence" of 6 cents makes one wonder if he actually thought there was some merit to the claim.Intense Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441598926026727682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5034998384799920884.post-18366538151324857472012-04-25T09:34:19.310-07:002012-04-25T09:34:19.310-07:00Wow I cant wait to read your BLOG every morning!I ...Wow I cant wait to read your BLOG every morning!I so look forward to it and you have such a wonderful writing style. This is such an interesting little story! 6 cents! <br />My great Aunt Sina McKay went to live with this family while she went to college in Michigan in 1920. I never knew her because she died a few years later at the age of 22. She was RC Flannigan's great neice. I have Sina's old College scrapbook. It is a real treasure. http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/15462220/person/266501097Connie Lee McKay Martelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00403523156576872955noreply@blogger.com
