On the other hand, given an average sized campus, it wouldn't surprise me. The idea does, however, widen our minds to think of the possibilities. That's the kind of thought which drives a genealogist like me to distraction.Jacqi Stevenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03471698670217119444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5034998384799920884.post-76896330088219715682021-10-10T22:16:18.416-07:002021-10-10T22:16:18.416-07:00A tragic story, but it definitely makes me wonder ...A tragic story, but it definitely makes me wonder about paths crossing with people. I learned about a year ago that a 2nd cousin I’ve never met attended the same university as me, and the same years. Neither of us believe our paths crossed in those 4 years, but now I have to wonder. I guess a "story" isn't really a story unless it hits us viscerally. This one punched my guts out and froze me in my tracks. I couldn't have left without sharing it.Jacqi Stevenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03471698670217119444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5034998384799920884.post-64471412280358278872021-10-09T21:07:16.957-07:002021-10-09T21:07:16.957-07:00It was, Miss Merry. It does take you out ...That is a fascinating story. It does take you out of the role of name-and-date-collector, and puts you in the role of witness-from-the-future. But certain elements must be in place to make your trip through time and space possible: 1) only a data-collector who combs meticulously through details for years on end would be able to put such a story together; and 2) only a great story-teller could bring it to life. Thanks for another great real-life story.Lisa Jeffers Fultonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00008852323273792190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5034998384799920884.post-70618346045640220902021-10-09T18:08:28.322-07:002021-10-09T18:08:28.322-07:00So tragic. So tragic.Miss Merryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10691152819794851137noreply@blogger.com
